Average asking prices remain stable in February

The average asking price of Saskatoon listings on Saskatchewan's leading website for private sales was $316,781 - less than $2,000 higher than the average asking price in January.

The average asking price of Saskatoon listings on saskhouses.com during February of 2010 was just over $2,000 less than the asking price in February of 2009 - another indication that housing prices have stabilized in most parts of Saskatchewan in the past year or so.

The average asking price of saskhouses.com listings in Martensville in February was $367,617 - the average asking price of Warman listings was $433,167 - and the average asking price of Prince Albert listings was $251,900

Sales were again brisk during the month of January, with 39 saskhouses.com customers marking their properties sold, and many others indicating they have offers pending on their properties.

So far in 2010, more than 61 million dollars of Saskatchewan property has been advertised for sale on saskhouses.com, as more and more people are taking control of their own real estate transactions, and are selling their properties privately.
