Asking prices increase slightly in July

The average asking prices of Saskatoon listings on Saskatchewan's leading website for private sales increased slightly during the month of July 2010.

The average asking price of Saskatoon listings was $340,036 during the month of July, an increase of almost $10,000 from the average asking price in June 2010, but a decrease of $3,000 from the average asking price in May of 2010.

The average asking price of $340,036 was about $4,000 higher than the average asking price in July of 2009 - another indication that house prices have pretty much stabilized in the Saskatoon Area in the past year.

The average asking price of listings in Martensville in July was $269,720, the average asking price of Warman listings was $307,844, and the average asking price of Prince Albert listings was $293,308

Just over 380 million dollars worth of Saskatchewan property has been advertised for sale on saskhouses.com so far during 2010, with a total of 392 saskhouses.com customers reporting their properties sold so far in 2010, and many others reporting offers pending on their listings.
