The average asking price of Saskatoon listings on Saskatchewan's leading website for private home sales was $318,839 in February of 2009, a decrease of almost $10,000 from February of 2008.

The average asking price of Saskatoon listings on saskhouses.com during February was the lowest since January of 2008.

The number of listings on saskhouses.com in February 2009 was up by more than 40 percent from February 2008, and an increase in the number of listings often results in a slightly lower average asking price overall.
